twenty seven

Annette:  An amazing weekend of ecstatic dance, ceremony and community, New Moon intentions, release and ritual, singing in church, new connections and deepening friendships, the brilliant amber and lavender of New York City autumn evenings, and, pictured here, Sri Lankan buffett with friends for Sunday dinner. Monied I am not (yet), but opulent is my life and I am deeply grateful!

Erin:   Hands of an organic farmer and my father.  A lovely blend of the Newfoundland family with the Coe Hill family.  The 88th and 89th rows of potatoes dug up like muddy treasures marks the end of the season.  Learning the homemade process of cheesemaking.  Happy weather, muddy boots and smiling faces.  We really must do this more often!

You’re right… digging up potatoes is a bit like treasure hunting… you never know how many you’ll find. It’s one of my favorite things to do in the fall.
Plus, those fresh potatoes taste so good!
    Week 27 is beautiful :)

Indeed it was a lovely visit Erin! Really enjoyed the “little” church craft & bake sale. Watching Henry with the farm animals [& you with Poppy asleep in a snuggly under your coat :)]
    You & Janet making cheese!
Hope to do it again in the near future!
