fawned friday

01) Yes, that is exactly what I have been trying to say all this time

02) I adore these wee canvases.

03) Oh, do I ever love me some Walton’s.

04) I am oddly comforted by wallpaper like this and this.  I think I will ad bits + bobs of it where I can.

05) Oh!  I really want to make this.  If only I could have a moment without children pawing at me and running off with the wool.  Seriously, how do you other mamas do it?!

06) The fox is speaking to me.  He always has.

07) Now you know.

08) I laughed + I cried.

09) Cute kids clothes in this shop.

10) This is pretty great and Canadian too!

I love foxes. A couple of springs ago, a mother fox decided to make her den right behind the library loading area on campus… it was amazing to go by and watch 7 little fox kits bouncing around while their mamma brought them squirrel snacks. She let me get fairly close with my camera, too… stopping to stare at me when I crossed her invisible “do not pass” line.

They are so sweet, but it worries me when they are so close to humans and cars.
I think one made its way across our yard in the fresh snow last night.
      Makes my heart glad.

I have always loved flowered wallpaper. It’s just so pretty – I don’t care if it’s not in style. :)

It’s making a comeback. At least that is what I tell myself 😉
